Rampage Classic Tournament Rules
July 11-14, 2007
1. Number of Games:
a. Each team will play a minimum of three (3) games.
2. Rules:
a. Rules will be played under FIFA and USYSA adjustments
for youthcompetition.
b. USYSA player passes or wristbands will be required
at all games.
c. Rules regarding conduct of all spectators, coaches,
and players will
be in accordance with FIFA rules
and regulations.
d. Any player or coach given a red card will not be permitted
to
participate in the remainder
of the game and the next scheduled
game. The referee will be instructed
to retain player pass of any red
carded player/coach and it will
be returned to the coach by the
tournament committee.
e. Ejections will be forwarded to team’s state
association.
f. Shin guards must be worn by each player.
g. NO PROTEST CAN OR WILL BE ACCEPTED!!!
3. USYSA Substitution Rules:
a. Substitutions are unlimited and as follows:
1. Prior to your team’s throw in.
2. Prior to a goal kick either way.
3. After a goal is scored by either team.
4. Injury if play is stopped, one for one.
4. Regulation Time:
a. U- 9, 10, - 20 minute halves, no overtime for regulation
play.
b. U-11, - 25 minute halves, no overtime for regulation
c. U-12, 13, 14, - 30 minute halves, no overtime for
regulation play.
d. U-15, 16, 17, 18,- 35 minute halves, no overtime for
regulation play.
5. QuarterFinals:
Same as regulation play. If tied at end of regulation
play, if tied, go
directly to penalty kicks perFIFA rules.
6. Semi-Finals:
a. U-9, 10, - 25 minute halves. If tied at end of regulation
play, 2
five minute overtime periods;
if still tied, penalty kicks per rules
b. U-11, 12, 13, 14, - 30 minute halves. If tied at end
of regulation
play, 2 five minute overtime periods;
If still tied , penalty kicks per FIFA rules.
c. U- 15, 16, - 35 minute halves, If tied at end of regulation
play, 2
five minute overtime periods;
If still tied, penalty kicks per FIFA rules.
d. U-17, 18 - 40 minute halves, If tied at end of regualtion
play, 2
five minute overtime periods;
If still tied, penalty kicks per FIFA rules.
7. Finals:
a . U-9, 10 25 minute halves, if tied at end of regulation
play, 2 five
minute overtime periods; If still
tied, penalty kick per FIFA rules.
b. U- 11, 12,- 30 minute halves, if tied at end of regulation
play, 2
five minute overtime periods;
If still tied, penalty kick per FIFA rules.
c. U-13, 14,- 35 minute halves, if tied at end of regulation
play, 2
five minute overtime periods;
If still tied, penalty kick per FIFA rules.
d . U- 15, 16,- 40 minute halves, if tied at end of regulation
play, 2
five minute overtime periods;
If still tied, penalty kick per FIFA rules.
e. U-17, 18- 45 minute halves, if tied at end of regulation
play, 2 ten
minute overtime periods; If still
tied, penalty kick per FIFA rules.
8. Scoring Tabulation will be kept as follows:
a. Three (3) points for win.
b. One (1) point for a tie.
c. Zero (0) points for a loss.
d. Should any team forfeit, all the opposing teams in
that bracket shall be awarded Three (3) points (Score 1-0).
9. Scoring System to determine bracket winner:
If necessary, the following tie breaker rules will be
used to determine the order of team advancement
to the quarter-finals or semifinal round.
1. Head-to head results
2.. Least goals allowed in all games played within the
team’s bracket.
3. Cumulative goal differential between goals scored
and goals allowed
in all games played within the
team’s flight. Maximum difference
allowed is four (4) goals per
game.
4. Winner of most games.
5. If tie still exists, the team with the most shut-outs
will be determined the winner.
6. Finally, penalty kicks per FIFA rules will be used
if tie still exists between the two teams, to determine the winner.
This tie-breaking procedure shall be used
if necessary to determine 1st and 2nd place standing
within bracket. If more than two (2) teams are
tied at the end of the preliminary round, the tiebreaker
criteria listed will be used in order shown, beginning
at #2 to advance one team. The
remaining teams will then be compared, beginning again
with criteria # 1 to determine the ultimate placement.
10. Scoring System to determine wildcard
1. Highest 2nd place cumulative points in all brackets.
2. Least goals allowed
3. If tie exists, goal differential will be used (maximum
4 goals per game) to break tie.
4. Most wins
5. Most shut-outs
6. Finally, penalty kicks per FIFA rules will be used
if tie still exists between two teams.
11. Award:
a. Individual awards for first place in all divisions.
b. Individual awards for second place in all divisions.
c. Directly following championship game, awards will
be made Roy west Park near the bowery.
12. Guest Players and dual registration
Five guest players are allowed.
13. Check-In:
a. A team representative is required to present the following
information at the
Check-in: TEAM ROSTER SIGNED
BY DISTRICT REGISTRAR AND CURRENT PLAYER PASSES.
b. A team which has not presented to a tournament official
its signed
roster and passes at the Check-in
shall forfeit the first game.
c. U9 and U10 teams check in with tournament director
for passes.
14. Weather:
a. Any game cancelled during play due to bad weather
will be considered final and the score
will be recorded at that time.
This is solely at the tournament director’s discretion and for the safety
of the players.
b. Any games cancelled before play due to weather will
be decided by a penalty shootout by both teams, scheduled
by the tournament director.
c. No protests will be allowed. |
